Before you can use InputStick you have to install InputStickUtility application. It will guide you step-by-step through a brief configuration process. You do this only once and it takes no more than two minutes.
Step 1: Download InputStickUtility.
Step 2: Plug InputStick into any available USB port. System will detect new device. If necessary, it will install standard drivers for Human Interface Device. No action is required on your part. This step usually takes just a few seconds.
Step 3: Run the application, select "My devices", "Add new device".
Step 4: "Device discovery" - select your device from the list.
Step 5: Click "Next" when ready. When asked for PIN, use: 1234.
Step 6: If you want, you can edit device properties (name, type).
Ready! Now your Android device can act as a USB keyboard, mouse, gamepad etc.

InputStick-enabled applications can behave in different ways, depending on design and user settings.
USB Remote - by default user manually initiates connection ("Connect" button), however "Auto-connect" can be enabled in application settings.
KP2A plugin - depending on user preferences, application will automatically try to establish connection as soon as entry is opened, or it will do so only when typing is requested by user.
